Cushions, covers, and upholstery for individual elements (balconies, paddles, loungers, nets) are made from several different certified textile materials, including Textum – STRATOS, Textum – AKIRA, Textum – BACKUS, and ANAFI. All listed materials are machine washable at 40 °C and are easy to maintain.

NOTE: In cases where the customer has special requests that deviate from the standard offer, or when the supplier does not currently have a certain color in stock, the delivery time may be extended up to 30 days. This can affect the overall production and delivery time of the finished product.

We pay special attention to the selection of coatings upon request, we offer 10 ready-made glazing finishes and 11 ready-made matte covering colors on a water basis, which are completely safe for people and pets. However, we prefer natural protection such as beeswax or oil, as they are biodegradable, do not form a film that can peel, are economical, and effectively protect against moisture. Their disadvantages are longer drying time (about 7 days) and a specific odor.
If you want the protective coating JUBIN Natural Oil or JUBIN Natural Wax Oil, please select the option “TRANSPARENT” in the “Glazing finishes” section and specify the desired coating in the “Order note” field. If you do not want any protective coating, simply state this in the note (e.g., “I do not want a protective coating”). However, we recommend protecting the wood to ensure long-term product durability.

Scratching post bases
BASIC – PLYWOOD BASES
Our standard bases are made of moisture-resistant birch plywood (WISA) BFU100, S/BB, premium quality, 29-ply (40 mm, approx. 26 kg/m²) in accordance with EN314-2/KL3. The same material is used for top plates and caps.
All other wooden elements (balconies, paddles, loungers, top plates) are made from 13-ply plywood (18 mm, approx. 13 kg/m²) of the same quality and standard.
EXCLUSIVE – PRODUCT BASES MADE FROM NATURAL STONE
Bengal Black
A black granite originating from India, with fine sparkling white or silver minerals in its structure. It matches almost any furniture style, modern or retro, and is one of the strongest granites available.
Vizag Blue
Due to its color, somewhere between blue and purple combined with natural patterns it is an ideal choice for white, light, or creamy furniture, and blends beautifully with almost all natural wood tones.
Carrara
A high-quality and modern material widely used in design, creating a sense of luxury in your home. Its gentle white tone with dark veins makes it one of the most sought-after stone patterns ever.
Stone is a natural material and each piece is unique, so photos may differ from the actual appearance. No material is completely resistant to scratches, absorption, or damage; careful transport and installation are recommended.
Granite and marble bases come prepared for casters and include a galvanized metric bolt for mounting the post. The approximate weight of stone with a thickness of 30 mm is 90 kg/m².
Ropes – 12 mm diameter
SISAL
A natural material, irreplaceable for scratching posts due to its exceptional wear resistance and stability. It can be dyed, but is recommended only for indoor dry areas, as it absorbs moisture and changes length.
JUTA
100% natural, eco-friendly, and recyclable. Wear-resistant, soft, and attractive, but not suitable for heavy loads.
SINTETIČKA KONOPLJA
Similar in appearance and properties to natural hemp. Highly resistant to moisture, rot, UV radiation, and wear—ideal for outdoor conditions.
POSTS – MADE FROM SOLID WOOD
We standardly manufacture posts from laminated fir or spruce beams, industrial grade GL-24 (EN 14080), with a diameter of 120 mm. In exceptional cases, we also use other solid woods (ash, oak, or beech).
Posts are wrapped with natural sisal or jute rope (Ø12 mm), and for outdoor use, synthetic “hemp” rope (Ø12 mm) is used if required for higher weather resistance. After wrapping, the total diameter is 144 mm.
For all wood and rope joints, we use EN-204-D3 waterproof adhesive, odorless and free of solvents and harmful substances, safe for pets and humans.
CONNECTOR PLATES, HARDWARE, AND SCREWS
All metal parts are made from high-quality steel with anti-corrosion protection, and for certain parts we use exclusively stainless steel (INOX, DIN 580).
